A domestic visa, also known as a maid visa or tadbeer visa, allows hired domestic workers from other countries to reside in the UAE for the duration of their contract. This visa is part of the UAE government’s Tadbeer program, which facilitates the hiring process and ensures the welfare of domestic workers and their employers.

UAE Maid Visa Validity

The UAE tadbeer visa is valid for one year and must be renewed annually to continue the domestic worker’s employment in the UAE.

Eligibility Requirements for a Domestic Worker Visa

To be eligible for the domestic worker visa, sponsors must meet the following criteria:

• Monthly salary of no less than AED 10,000 for residents and AED 25,000 for expatriates.
• Must be married.
• Must be the head of the family.

Requirements for Domestic Workers

Workers applying for the domestic visa must meet the following requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
